06/24/01  The independent work of Phil, vocalist of Ground Chuck, is now known as Anomalus Anexx.  In my humble opinion, its pretty damn good, at least the one song i  have had the pleasure of hearing.  Check it out on mp3.com, or on its official page on meat box records.  Thanks.

06/19/01  Ground Chuck is still 33rd!  At one point, "they blow" became one of the top 300 grindcore songs on mp3.com, but returned to its holding spot at about 1925 in the genre.  Ground Chuck will soon appear on the first projected release from meaboxrecords, a sampler.  The tentative release date for this is whenever i can get my cd burner to work again, or whenever i buy a new one.  This will soon be followed by the release of the complete recordings of Ground Chuck from the previous year.  Check this site and http://meatboxrecords.tripod.com for updates......

05/09/01  Ground Chuck is returning to its individual homes for the summer season.  There are some mp3's from the final show up now on the discography page.  Look for periodic updates to the lyrics and bio pages over summer, as well as any side project information.  ground chuck wishes you all a meat-filled summer.  Thank you.

05/07/01  The most prolific Ground Chuck show ever.  Defying all sensibility, Chuck violated every conceivable rule of etiquette and tonal harmony to present a set which, in the words of one fan, was "SATAN'S ORGASM."  Ground Chuck expanded the sonic possibilities of noise to an unprecedented level, and much hilarity ensued.  More on this later, my arms hurt and im thirsty.  w00t w00t.

05/06/01  THE FINAL CHUCK SHOW WILL BE MONDAY, MAY 7 AT 9:30 IN TOBS ROOM.

05/05/01  THERE WILL BE ONE MORE CHUCK SHOW BEFORE THE END OF CONCERT SEASON!  Sometime this week.  It is rumored that Ground Chuck has taken on a keyboardist for experimentation.  We will see how this goes.

Ground Chuck now has the #38 song in the 29225 ZIP code, completely defeating DJ Aston and DJ Bristol.  Incidentally, the artist knocking Ground Chuck down a few slots is the solo project of Phil, vocalist for Ground Chuck.  Check it out- its called Phildopus.  The current #1 position is held by Fling, who blow.  A lot.  So go to mp3.com and click on one of Ground Chuck's songs.   With a little help, we may defeat the Urinal Cake Mafia, and then on to the top!  w00t w00t.

05/04/01  Theres a Ground Chuck contest!  Its hidden somewhere in here.......  The mp3.com page is up now, check it out if you so desire.  There are a few previously unreleased songs up there.   Ground Chuck failed to secure Tool tickets, and therefore any donations of said tickets would be greatly appreciated......please?

05/01/01  Updated some stuff.  Mp3s from last show of April are up now.  More lyrics pages will come when the webmaster can pull himself out of the state of horrible, mind-bending depressions he falls into, specifically the type where he hides in the bathroom and has to be removed with a plunger by the University of South Carolina maintenance department.

04/27/01  Many site design changes.  Lyrics page goes up, with illustrations.  Added forum.  Next show tentatively scheduled for 04/29/01, but no certainty yet......Check for more lyric pages daily.

04/22/01 Guitarist (tob) for Ground Chuck gets a haircut.  The world rejoices. Jubilant throngs of normal citizens across the world unite for the furtherance of mankind, proving me wrong about everything ive ever thought.  Birds sing, and all is well with the world.  Starving children are fed heaps of nutritious wheat cakes.  The stars shine clear and bright, and a single flower blooms in a small town in upstate south carolina.  Then the world realizes that nobody actually cares about tob's hair; and death, misery, and bitter, bitter despair reign once again.  The flower dies, and things return to the fractured state of abnormality that usually exists in this place, and tob is left with only the memory that once, he did something that meant anything.

04/19/01 Site design in progress.  A few mp3s available from discography page.  Pictures of the show will be up in a little while....(ie, when i use up the roll of film and go to Wal-Mart)

04/17/01  Recorded show at TOB'S ROOM...possibly compiling material for live album.......
